A classic wall-mailbox with beautifully detailed Post-Horn ornament on the front door modeled after a city mailbox of the Royal Württemberg Post from ca. 1891. The mailbox body, cast in one piece, is made of rust-resistant cast aluminum; the right-hinged door with a lock opens across the entire front of the mailbox. The mail slot opens upward and rests flat against the door when closed (it does not swing freely inward).
Upon request, the mail slot flap can be inscribed with a custom text - e.g., a family name or street name - using raised cast letters (up to a maximum of 18 capital block letters). The standard text is "POSTBRIEFKASTEN" .
(This mailbox is the same basic model as Art.-Nr. 1524 A, but without the decorative brackets beneath the mailbox)

For a special surface coating, our patina is applied by hand. Effects on the ornaments can be highlighted through this process. With a dual-patina, this effects are even more visible in adding a certain depth to structured surfaces and make it look like old material from bygone areas.
