So-called social bookmarks (e.g. from Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter ) are integrated on our website. After clicking on the integrated graphic, you will be redirected to the website of the respective provider, i.e. only then will user information be transmitted to the respective provider. Information on the handling of your personal data when using these websites can be found in the respective data protection regulations of the providers.

Facebook or Meta Pixel

This website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook for conversion measurement. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries. This allows the behavior of page visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the providers website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.

The collected data is anonymous for us as the operator of this website, we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, according to the Facebook data usage policy. This allows Facebook to enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.

The use of Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures including social media. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g., consent to store cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time. You can find further information on protecting your privacy in Facebook´s privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You can also deactivate the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function in the Ad Settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you must be logged into Facebook. Pinterest

We use the Pinterest social network, owned by Pinterest Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland. By clicking the "P" button, Pinterest receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page on our website. If you do not agree to this, you must log out of the Pinterest account before clicking the "P" button. The scope and purpose of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Pinterest as well as your corresponding rights and design rights to protect your privacy can be found in Pinterest’s data protection information at: http://pinterest.com/about/privacy

Pinterest Tag

We use the Pinterest tag on our website, a marketing service of Pinterest Europe Ltd, 2nd Floor, Palmerston House, Fenian Street, Dublin, Ireland. This allows users of the website to be shown interest-based advertisements ("Pinterest ads") when visiting the Pinterest network or other websites that also use the method. Pinterest ads placed by us should only be displayed to users who have also shown an interest in our offers or who have certain characteristics and/or interests that we have communicated to Pinterest (so-called "ActALike Audiences"). In addition, the use of the Pinterest tag serves statistical and market research purposes, as it allows us to track whether a user was redirected to our website after clicking on a Pinterest ad (so-called "conversion"). We thus pursue the interest of showing you advertising that is of interest to you in order to make our website more interesting for you. Furthermore, the use serves the purpose of market research. The Pinterest tag will save a so-called cookie (see also above under "Cookies" of this privacy policy) on your device when you call up our website. If you subsequently log in to Pinterest or visit Pinterest while logged in, your visit to our website will be noted in your profile.

The data collected by the "Pinterest tag" does not allow us to draw any conclusions about your identity. The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter a GDPR.

You can object to the collection by the Pinterest tag and the use of your data to display Pinterest ads. To set which types of ads you see within Pinterest, you can go to the page set up by Pinterest and follow the instructions on usage-based advertising settings there: https://www.pinterest.com/settings

The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices. You can find more information about data processing by Pinterest at https://policy.pinterest.com/en/privacy-policy
