Classic letter slot cover made from cast aluminium for domestic letterboxes and wall-mounted letterboxes.
The inscription on the letter slot cover can be amended to your requirements with up to 16 raised letters or omitted entirely.
The text ‘BRIEFKASTEN’ is written in classic Antiqua typeface on the panel below. At the bottom, there is an embossed motif of an envelope with a seal. This makes its function immediately apparent.
Stylistically, this model largely corresponds to the original letter slot plate of the Imperial German Post, Lindern Post Office (Rhineland), 3rd-class post office circa 1890, originally manufactured from cast iron by the Isselburg Ironworks (1874–1972).
