Historic cast aluminum mail slot plate for wall openings.
The lettering on the mail slot flap can be personalized - for example, with your family name - in raised cast letters instead of “EINWURF.” At the bottom edge of the mail slot plate is an ornate border, with a stylized letter bearing a seal depicted in the centerthis area can accommodate an optional doorbell button. The word "BRIEFKASTEN" (for Mailbox) above the flap is an integral part of the design and cannot be altered.

This model is a replica of a letter slot plate of the Imperial German Postal Service from around 1890, intended for post offices. The original was made of cast iron and painted blue; the lower section featuring the stylized envelope with a seal was not included.
The mounting hole spacing is approximately 43 cm x 23 cm; matching screws and wall plugs are included.
