Historic cast-aluminum mail slot plate from the Imperial Postal Service (c. 1890), designed for through-the-wall mailboxes.
Optionally available with custom lettering on the flap—such as your name—in raised cast letters instead of "EINWURF" (Mail Slot).
This model is a reproduction of an Imperial Postal Service mail slot plate from around 1890, originally used on post office buildings. The original was made of cast iron and painted blue.

For a special surface coating, our patina is applied by hand. Effects on the ornaments can be highlighted through this process. With a dual-patina, this effects are even more visible in adding a certain depth to structured surfaces and make it look like old material from bygone areas.
